It may be trite but I'm back in the saddle

I basically took a break from dieting in November and December. I traveled in November, plus there was Thanksgiving, and then in December everything seems to rotate about food. So I indulged. I haven't weighed yet but I'll bet I've gained all my weight back.
But I'm back in the saddle and settling into my old routine. I'm drinking a ton of water so I'm running to the bathroom all day long. I'm back to eating every three hours, which is already making me feel better. Plus there's so much protein in this food, and that's something it seems like I never get enough of - protein.
I'm not gonna lie, though, and say I'm not feeling deprived because I am. My stomach feels pretty empty and I ate a bar a couple hours ago. I've been allowing myself anything and everything so stopping cold turkey is tough. But if I stay busy it won't be a problem. This go round I'm only bringing exactly enough bars to get thru the day instead of bringing the whole box. That was allowing me to cheat during the day when I'm working.
I've got nowhere to go but up and I'm looking forward to it. I see so many success stories. I definitely want to be one of them.
